Forest Lake Police Relief Association

What is the Forest Lake Police Relief Association?

The Forest Lake Police Relief Association was formed in 1972 by Forest Lake Police Officers and is a non-profit organization.  Former Chief Jim Trudeau was one of the founding members of the organization and Forest Lake Police Officers have continued the association with fundraisers for over forty years.

The association first started with an annual snowmobile race on Forest Lake and all proceeds from the police officers volunteer work during the event would go towards the association.  The Forest Lake Police Relief Association has grown from five full-time members in the 1970’s to 27 members today.

The Forest Lake Police Relief Association donates funds to other local non-profit organizations, scholarships, Shop with a Cop, and gives back to the community every year.

The Forest Lake Police Relief Association proudly sells Forest Lake Police Department Challenge Coins, Wine Tumblers, and Can Koozies.
