Season Schedule:
City ice rinks are now open and will remain open through the winter until the ice is no longer suitable and safe for skating.
Rink Locations & Warming House Hours:
Tower Park: 843 SW 4th Street:
- Warming house, two hockey rinks, portable restroom and parking available.
- Lights are on a timer and will turn off at 10:00 PM.
- Warming House Hours:
- Tuesday & Thursday 5:00 - 8:00 PM (NEW HOURS)
- Friday 4:00-9:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday Noon-6:00 PM
Beltz Park: 720 11th Avenue SE:
- Warming house, one pleasure rink, portable restroom and parking available.
- Lights are on a timer and will turn off at 10:00 PM.
- Warming House Hours:
- Saturday and Sunday Noon-6:00 PM
Warming house hours subject to change due to weather and staff availability. Ice Rinks are open to the public for skating unless noted otherwise.
Ice Rink Closure:
- Ice rinks will be closed if the ice condition is not suitable for skating.
- Ice rinks will close for any of the additional following reasons:
- The air temperature is -10 degrees or below.
- The wind chill factor is -20 degrees or below.
- Unusually warm temperatures has softened the ice, making the rinks unsafe for skating.
- We receive a snowfall of more than two inches, as this can delay cleaning the rinks and opening the warming house.
Ice Rink Reservations:
Ice rink reservations are now being accepted for 2020! If you are interested in reserving rink time for your next practice or group event, please click here for the Ice Rink Reservation Form 2020. Completed forms should be sent to Jamie.Muscha@ci.forest-lake.mn.us. Please allow 2-3 business days for processing the reservation request.
