[ARCHIVED] Castlewood Golf Course Open for 2020 Season

castlewood_golf_draft2

Welcome to another year at Castlewood Golf Course!

Effective Saturday, April 18, 2020, tee times are now available for reservation online at www.castlewood.golf.  For the time being, you must prepay online in order to book a tee time through our website and we encourage groups to use one form of payment when booking. When you reserve your desired tee time, you will be prompted to securely enter your credit card information. Your card will not be charged until you check in at the golf course. Once you check in, we will process your payment and you are able to go play!

Carts are currently not available on-site so all play will be walking only for the time being. If you are prompted during your booking process that a cart fee is included, please disregard that note as you will only be charged for the greens fee upon your arrival at the course.  Under the current Executive Order, golfers may use their own cart.  To pay your trail fee, please email zach@castlewood.golf.

If you are interested in purchasing a 2020 season pass, which includes greens fees during league play, please submit a request online at https://castlewood.golf/season-passes.

Upon Arrival:

  • Please arrive no more than 20 minutes before your tee time to minimize gathering in all areas.
  • The CDC’s requirement for social distancing of 6 feet is being strictly enforced on all property.
  • Club rentals and pull carts will not be available until further notice. Please do not plan on sharing clubs with any golfers.

On the Golf Course:

  • The cups on all putting greens have been modified to allow for ball retrieval without the need to touch any surfaces.
  • Rakes will not be provided for bunker raking at this time. Please do your best to smooth disturbed sand with either your shoe or golf club.
  • Do not pick up your playing partners’ clubs during play.
  • We ask you to please forgo the traditional after round handshake and invite you to create your own socially distanced salutation. We’re fans of the putter salute!

Please take a few minutes to review the Outdoor Recreational Guidelines that must be followed under the Executive Order 20-38 Allowing for Safe Outdoor Recreation.
