NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Forest Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a variance for the property located at 23620 Forest Road, Forest Lake Minnesota (PID 05-032-21-13-0001). Specifically, the property owner is proposing to construct a 6,400 square-foot accessory building for personal inside storage and a maintenance shop. He is not intending to use the new building for commercial or business purposes.
The City Code allows the owner to have one detached accessory building on the property. Having a second detached accessory building on this property requires City approval of a variance.
When: Wednesday March 13, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.
Where: City Council Chambers, Forest Lake City Hall at 1408 Lake St. S., Forest Lake, MN 55025
People who want to be heard with reference to the proposed variance to allow the second detached building will be given the opportunity to be heard at this public hearing. If you are unable to attend the hearing but would like to provide input, you are encouraged to submit written comments ahead of the meeting.
