Environmental Assessment Worksheet Available for Public Review
Timm’s Marina Dock Addition Project
The City of Forest Lake announces the availability of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for the proposed Dock Addition Project at Timm’s Marina, 9080 Jewel Lane North, Forest Lake, Washington County, Minnesota.
The proposed project includes the addition of two non-permanent slip docks at the existing marina. The docks would provide up to 72 additional boat slips and would expand on-water marina operations by approximately 1.48 acres, including docks, slips, and associated navigation areas.
The City of Forest Lake is serving as the Responsible Governmental Unit (RGU) for the environmental review under Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4410, and has submitted the EAW to the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board (EQB) for publication in the EQB Monitor. Publication is scheduled for January 6, 2026, which will initiate a 30-day public comment period ending on February 5, 2026.
The EAW is available for public review online through the EQB Monitor and at Forest Lake City Hall, 1408 Lake Street S., Forest Lake, Minnesota, during normal business hours.
