This draft 2040 Comprehensive Plan was completed and reviewed by the Forest Lake Planning Commission at public hearings on June 27th and July 11th, 2018. The Forest Lake City Council reviewed the draft and authorized its release on July 23rd, 2018. The draft Plan is now being reviewed by nearby local governments and the Watershed Districts. This review period is about six months long. The draft Plan then goes to the Metropolitan Council for review and approval before it comes back to the City for formal adoption, which could be in Winter 2019.
